The practical part
The essentials
Caleta de Fuste: easiest arrival, calm beach
Aena lists line 3 for Caleta de Fuste and Las Salinas; lines 10 and 16 also stop in Caleta. Visit Fuerteventura calls El Castillo a very safe beach with calm water all year, and the resort has shops, restaurants, a marina and golf nearby. Day trips: the Salt Museum on line 3, Puerto del Rosario on 3, 10 or 16, Gran Tarajal on 16 or 10, and Corralejo with a change at the capital.

Corralejo: the most days out, one change from the airport
Line 6 links Corralejo with Puerto del Rosario and passes the Hoteles Riu stops by the dunes; line 8 runs to El Cotillo; the harbour has the ferries to Playa Blanca on Lanzarote and the boats to Lobos, which the Cabildo's permit governs. The airport needs line 3 (or 10 or 16) to the capital and line 6 on, so a late flight means a taxi.

Morro Jable and Costa Calma: Jandía's two bases
Both are on line 10 from the airport and linked by line 5, whose trips all enter the Esquinzo development. Morro Jable adds line 1 up the whole island, line 111 to Cofete and the Gran Canaria ferry from its quay (line 5 has a stop named Muelle Jet Foil); Visit Fuerteventura describes its four-kilometre Matorral beach beside a protected salt marsh. Costa Calma has a two-kilometre white beach sheltered by its hotels and a quieter evening.

Gran Tarajal, Puerto del Rosario and El Cotillo
Gran Tarajal is not a resort: a working town with a Blue Flag dark-sand beach, murals and festivals, on lines 1, 10 and 16 and with line 12 to Las Playitas. Puerto del Rosario is the capital and the hinge of every line, with a harbourfront and everyday shops, but no resort beach. El Cotillo is a surf village with lagoons and a lighthouse to walk to, at the end of line 7 from the capital and line 8 from Corralejo, so an airport arrival means a change and a thin evening timetable.

Step-free travel from each base
TIADHE's reduced-mobility timetable lists ramp-equipped departures on lines 1, 3, 6, 8 and 10; lines 2, 5, 7 and 16 are not on it. Other departures can be requested by phone, 24 hours ahead from Monday to Thursday or 48 hours ahead for a Friday, weekend or holiday trip. Caleta de Fuste (3, 10), Corralejo (6, 8) and the Jandía resorts (1, 10) are therefore the bases with ramp-equipped lines.
