The practical part
The essentials
Check the last bus to your resort before you fly
Open the airport timetable, pick your resort and the day you land, and read the last departure of the day. For Puerto del Rosario, Caleta de Fuste and Las Salinas, line 3 is the late line and its sheet marks the last services with airport access; for Costa Calma and Morro Jable, line 10's day ends far earlier, and for Gran Tarajal, line 16's.

Landing late: the taxi rank
Aena tells arriving passengers to take a taxi only from the signed taxi rank at the terminal, to avoid drivers offering rides from other areas, and to ask for a receipt in case of a complaint. For a late arrival in Corralejo or El Cotillo, where the bus needs a change in Puerto del Rosario anyway, a taxi is the realistic plan B.
Flying early: the first bus and a margin
Read the first departure towards the airport on the tab for your day: on Sundays and holidays the first buses are later. TIADHE times only the ends of each line, so allow for the ride from the far end to the airport on top of the departure you see, and add your airline's check-in time. If the first bus would be tight, take a taxi from your resort's rank or stay the last night near the airport: Caleta de Fuste and Puerto del Rosario are the two places on a direct airport line with a short ride.

Cash for the driver, even at night
Tickets are sold on board for cash: a note no larger than five times the fare, never above fifty euros, and keep the proof of payment. Have small notes ready before you leave the terminal.
Which resorts have a late or early bus?
Puerto del Rosario, Caleta de Fuste and Las Salinas, on line 3, have the longest day. Costa Calma and Morro Jable depend on line 10, whose last bus towards the south leaves Puerto del Rosario in the evening and whose first bus from Morro Jable leaves early; Gran Tarajal on line 16 is similar. Corralejo and El Cotillo add a change in the capital, so the last line 6 or line 7 from the station is the real limit, not the airport bus.

Pre-booked transfers
This site has no verified transfer partner for Fuerteventura yet, so it recommends none. If you book one, use the hotel's or a named company, agree the meeting point in the terminal, and keep the taxi rank as the fallback Aena describes.
Canary time
Fuerteventura keeps Western European Time, the same clock as the United Kingdom and one hour behind mainland Spain and most of Europe. A flight time on your ticket is local to the airport; the times on this site are Canary time too.
Asked and answered
Questions people ask
Is there a night bus from Fuerteventura Airport?
Line 3 runs late between Puerto del Rosario, the airport, Caleta de Fuste and Las Salinas, and TIADHE's sheet marks which of its last services still call at the airport; there is no bus through the small hours. Lines 10 and 16 finish in the evening. Check the airport timetable's last departure for your day.

What if I land after the last bus?
Take a taxi from the signed rank at the terminal, as Aena advises, and ask for a receipt. If you are staying in Caleta de Fuste or Puerto del Rosario the ride is short; for Corralejo, Costa Calma or Morro Jable it is a long one, so compare it with a first night nearer the airport.

How early does the first bus to the airport leave?
It depends on your resort and the day: read the first departure on the To-the-airport tab for your day, remember it is the departure from the far end of the line, and add the ride to the airport and your check-in time. From Morro Jable the only airport line is 10, and its sheet prints a first departure early in the morning Monday to Saturday and a much later one on Sundays and holidays, including the Canary holidays this timetable maps (12 October and 2 November 2026): the dated times are in the block above under Airport ↔ Costa Calma · Morro Jable, To the airport. For an early Sunday flight from Morro Jable the bus does not work; a taxi or a last night in Caleta de Fuste or Puerto del Rosario does.

The other half of the plan
And the way back.
For the journey home, decide the night before: the first bus from your resort's end of the line on the tab for your day, plus the ride to the airport and the check-in your airline asks for. If that sum does not work, a taxi from the rank or the hotel reception's booked transfer is the honest answer, and Caleta de Fuste or Puerto del Rosario the honest last-night base.
