The practical part
Here’s how to get there.
Ride the bus to the harbour stop
TIADHE’s general line 6 map continues past Corralejo bus station to a final stop named Muelle Corralejo, and starts there on the way back. The general line 8 map uses the same harbour stop. The line 6 hotel variant and the line 8 trip that does not stop at La Oliva do not list Muelle Corralejo, so check the map for the trip you board.
Coming from the airport or the capital
Aena lists lines 3, 10 and 16 at the airport, not line 6. TIADHE’s line 6 timetable marks some weekday trips via Parque Holandés as stopping at the hospital and the airport; otherwise take line 3 from the airport to Puerto del Rosario, where line 6 starts at the bus station. Treat the day as buses and a ferry, each with its own timetable.

Book the crossing with a ferry operator
Fred. Olsen Express, Baleària Canarias and Líneas Romero each publish the Corralejo – Playa Blanca route on their own sites. Compare their current sailings for your date, book with the operator you choose and keep that booking separate from your bus plan.

Where the ferries leave from
Fred. Olsen lists Muelle de Corralejo as its Fuerteventura sales office and boarding port. Official tourism describes the harbour as a five-minute walk from Corralejo, and says some berths are reserved for the ferries that connect to other ports.

How long the crossing takes
Fred. Olsen states 25 minutes on its Bocayna Express fast ferry or 35 minutes on its passenger-only ferry. Baleària Canarias states 35 minutes on the Volcán de Tindaya. Líneas Romero says it sails between Corralejo and Playa Blanca every day of the year.

Looking for Naviera Armas?
Armas Trasmediterránea’s site says the company is now Baleària. Baleària Canarias publishes the Corralejo – Playa Blanca route, so search and book under that name.

Cars, foot passengers and pets
Fred. Olsen says its Bocayna Express carries vehicles while the Buganvilla Express is passenger-only, and that a pet needs a place booked in advance. If you are travelling on foot, the bus to the harbour is all the land transport you need on the Fuerteventura side.

Carrying on by bus in Lanzarote
Intercity Lanzarote lists a Muelle de Playa Blanca stop on line 60 to Arrecife and on line 161 to Puerto del Carmen and Lanzarote Airport. Those buses have their own operator and timetable; TIADHE tickets and timetables stop at Corralejo.

How do I get from Fuerteventura to Lanzarote without a car?
Take a general line 6 or line 8 trip to Muelle Corralejo, then a ferry to Playa Blanca with Fred. Olsen Express, Baleària Canarias or Líneas Romero, booked with the operator; the crossing is not part of the bus fare.

The other half of the plan
And the way back.
Book the sailing back to Corralejo before you go, then check which general line 6 or line 8 trip from Muelle Corralejo still suits you that evening. The ferry and the bus are run by different operators with no guaranteed connection, so leave a margin at both ends of the crossing.
