What to see once you arrive
Official tourism describes Betancuria, founded in 1404, as one of the Canary Islands’ key colonial landmarks: the church of Santa María de la Concepción, the former Franciscan convent of San Buenaventura, the Museum of Sacred Art and the island’s archaeology museum.

A stop on the way: Tefía
The line 2 map has a stop named Ecomuseo Tefía in both directions, between the Casillas stops and Entra Betancuri. If you want to combine it with Betancuria, check that the gap between two line 2 trips leaves enough time for both.

Step-free travel needs a phone call
TIADHE’s reduced-mobility timetable lists ramp-equipped departures for lines 1, 3, 6, 8 and 10, but not line 2. If you need a ramp, call TIADHE’s information line before the day to ask what is possible.
