Where the published lines reach, and where they stop

    Where the lines reach

The airport, Puerto del Rosario, Corralejo, Caleta de Fuste, Costa Calma and Morro Jable are joined by the lines on the map, and from them the buses reach El Cotillo, Betancuria and Cofete.

    Where it does not

No bus goes to Lobos: it is a separately booked boat from Corralejo harbour, with the Cabildo’s authorization to land. Line 111 to Cofete is a limited remote service over an unpaved road. Lagoons, surf beaches and lighthouses are a walk from the stop the guides name.

Where the weather decides the plan

    • A crossing to Lobos Confirm the boat operator’s embarkation point and sailing conditions, and leave enough time to walk back to the Lobos jetty for the return.
    • A swim or a surf at El Cotillo Surf and swimming conditions are local and changeable. Use current beach flags, lifeguard information and qualified instruction.
    • A day at Cofete Road or weather conditions can affect this remote journey: allow for a late or missing return on the day and be ready to give up the outing if the return is uncertain.

Readings are measurements from Open-Meteo. Whether a bus or a boat trip runs is for TIADHE and the boat’s operator to say, not this panel.

    Good questions

    A little less guesswork.

Clear answers for your first ride, and the next one.

Is there a bus from Fuerteventura Airport to Corralejo?

Not a direct one. Lines 3, 10 and 16 take you from the terminal to Puerto del Rosario bus station, and line 6 runs from there to Corralejo. Both legs have a dated board on the guide, so you can see the connection for your day before you land.

Which bus goes to Caleta de Fuste, Costa Calma or Morro Jable from the airport?

Line 3 runs from the airport straight to Caleta de Fuste, all day and late into the evening. Line 10 is the airport bus down the east coast, calling at Costa Calma on its way to Morro Jable. The airport guide shows both boards side by side.

    The airport bus guide →

Checked Aena: How to get to Fuerteventura Airport by bus TIADHE lines 3, 10 TIADHE: TIADHE timetable sheets, read 12 October 2026 (ledger)

Do the buses run on Sundays and public holidays?

Yes, with fewer departures. TIADHE prints a separate Sundays-and-holidays table for every line on this site, and a public holiday uses that table. Every board here has a Sun & holidays tab, so pick it before you plan a Sunday beach day or a holiday return.

The airport board on its Sun & holidays table →

Checked TIADHE: TIADHE timetable sheets, read 12 October 2026 (ledger)

How do I pay on the bus, and do I need cash?

You pay the driver as you board. TIADHE's payment page says cash is paid directly to the driver, a note may be at most five times the fare and notes above €50 are not accepted, so carry small notes or coins. Keep the ticket for the whole ride.

Paying for buses in Fuerteventura →

Checked TIADHE: TIADHE payment systems and tariffs

Can I get to Cofete beach by bus?

Yes: line 111 leaves Morro Jable twice a day over the dirt track, every day of the week, and comes back twice; the return from Cofete is printed only as an estimate. From Puerto del Rosario with line 10 it is not a day trip to count on: on Sundays and holidays the morning Cofete bus has gone before the first line 10 leaves the capital, and after the afternoon return only the last line 10 of the day goes back.

Checked TIADHE: TIADHE timetable sheets, read 12 October 2026 (ledger)

Can I visit Lanzarote for a day without a car?

Yes. Line 6 links Puerto del Rosario with Corralejo, and the ferries to Playa Blanca leave from Corralejo harbour: Fred. Olsen Express, Baleària and Líneas Romero all sail the crossing. Buy the ferry separately; no bus is timed to meet a boat.

My flight lands late. Will there still be a bus?

Line 3 runs late between Puerto del Rosario, the airport and Caleta de Fuste, and TIADHE's sheet marks its last services with airport access; the trips after them skip the terminal, so the airport board here leaves them out. Lines 10 and 16 finish in the evening. After that it is the taxi rank outside arrivals.

Is Fuerteventura really doable without a car?

From Corralejo, Caleta de Fuste, Puerto del Rosario, Costa Calma or Morro Jable, yes: the airport, the capital, El Cotillo, Betancuria, Cofete, Lobos and the Lanzarote ferry are all on the lines this site covers. The honest catch is distance and the wind, and the car-free page says where a tour or a taxi is the better call.

Caleta de Fuste to Corralejo and back on a Sunday: does it work?

Yes on the dated boards, with one change each way: line 3 to Puerto del Rosario bus station, line 6 to Corralejo, then line 6 and line 3 back, all from the Sun & holidays tab. This connection is not guaranteed: TIADHE prints no arrival times and the lines are not timed to meet, so leave a margin at the station and fix the last line 3 back before you go.

Cruise call in Puerto del Rosario: can I reach Corralejo and be back on board?

Possible, with a wide margin. Line 6 runs from Puerto del Rosario bus station to Corralejo every day, on a public holiday from the Sun & holidays table. Count back from all-aboard, not from the ship's departure: keep the last hour for the walk from the station to the ship, which this site has not measured, and take a return that leaves Corralejo well before that. If the call is short, stay in town.

Puerto del Rosario, Corralejo and El Cotillo in one day: which buses?

Line 6 to Corralejo, line 8 on to El Cotillo, and the same two back; the El Cotillo guide's board has both lines. Some line 8 trips start or end at Plaza de la Ermita in El Cotillo, and its direct trips skip La Oliva, so read the note on each row. The changes are not guaranteed, because TIADHE prints no arrival times: leave a margin in Corralejo both ways. Line 7 is the direct bus if you skip Corralejo.

Back from Lanzarote: when is the last bus from Corralejo's quay?

Earlier than the last bus from the town. TIADHE's sheet says line 6 leaves the Muelle de Corralejo ten minutes before its Corralejo time and names the quay's last departure of the day; the later line 6 buses start at the bus station, not at the quay. The port guide's board lists only the quay departures, by day. Your ferry is not timed to the bus, so allow for disembarking.

Travelling with a wheelchair from the airport: what to book?

Two things, separately. Aena's airport assistance, at least 48 hours before your flight's scheduled departure, which ends at the meeting point you choose. And the bus: TIADHE lists ramp-equipped departures on lines 3 and 10 among others, and asks for other departures by phone 24 hours ahead from Monday to Thursday, 48 hours ahead for a Friday, a weekend or a holiday. No page promises a free wheelchair space, so confirm it.
