The practical part
The essentials
Read the tab for your day, not today's
Lines 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 12 and 16 have a Sundays-and-holidays table, lines 1, 12 and 16 a Saturday one too, and lines 2, 7, 8 and 111 run one table with trips keyed to certain days. Open the board for the day you travel and read the return direction, with the operator's note on the row, before you settle on where to spend the day.

Count from the far end of the line
A departure on the board is the time the bus leaves the end of the line, not the time it passes your stop: a bus that left the far end on time may reach you a little before or after you expect. Be at the stop early, and when the last bus is the one you need, be there earlier still. TIADHE prints no arrival times and promises no connection.

Treat a change as two separate last buses
Corralejo and El Cotillo reach the airport and the south only through Puerto del Rosario, so the last line 6 or line 7 from the station is the real limit, not the airport bus; Betancuria has three line 2 trips a day each way, one of them Sundays and holidays only. Fix the second leg first, then the first leg that lands you at the station with a margin.
If you miss it
At the airport, Aena's advice is the signed taxi rank at the terminal, with a receipt; in a resort, the rank or your accommodation's number. This site has no verified transfer partner on Fuerteventura and recommends none, and it will not pretend a bus exists after the last one printed. A last night in Caleta de Fuste or Puerto del Rosario, both on line 3 with a short ride to the airport, often beats a long late taxi.

Where the last departures are published
On this site's dated boards, built from TIADHE's timetable sheets, which print what the sheet said on the day it was read and withdraw their times after the show-until date they print; the line page that embeds each sheet carries no edition date, so the dated snapshot and its checksum are the edition markers, and that page is the source each board cites. TIADHE posts notices at any time, so on the day the notice at the stop wins over anything here.

The returns that need extra care
Cofete: line 111's return is printed only as an estimate and seats cannot be reserved, so carry water and be ready to wait. Las Playitas: only line 12 or a line 1 trip keyed “Entra en las Playitas” calls there, so the bus back must carry the key too. Corralejo's quay: line 6 leaves Muelle de Corralejo before the time printed for Corralejo, from the first quay departure of the day. Lobos and the ferries: a bus delay does not hold a boat and a boat delay does not hold the last bus, so leave a margin at both ends.

Late landings and the next day's date
Line 3 runs late into the night and its sheet marks the last services that still call at the airport; lines 10 and 16 stop much earlier. A late bus that keeps running after the date changes belongs to the day it started on, so read the end of the evening's tab, not the next day's, and count from the moment you have your bags, not from touchdown.

Asked and answered
Questions people ask
When is the last bus on Fuerteventura?
It depends on the line and the day, and this site will not put a time in a sentence: the dated board on each journey guide and destination page prints the last departure from each end of the line for weekdays, Saturdays where TIADHE has a table, and Sundays and holidays. Read the tab for your day before you go out; the board is the answer, and the operator's page is only its citation.

What if I miss the last bus?
A taxi from a rank, or a night where you are. At the airport, Aena says to use only the signed rank at the terminal and to ask for a receipt. Nothing on this site offers a bus after the last one TIADHE printed, and no app or blog can conjure one.

Why does the board not show my stop's time?
Because TIADHE's sheets print only the departure times from the two ends of each line; this site adds nothing it has not read. The board tells you when the bus leaves the far end towards you, the route map tells you the stops in order, and the margin is yours to add.

The other half of the plan
And the way back.
Pick the return from the tab for your day before you leave, take the departure before the tight one, be at the stop early because the time is the far end's, and fix the second leg of a change first. If the plan does not add up, a taxi from a rank or a last night on line 3 is the honest answer.
